Testimonials
"I'd like to say that of the presentations we have heard, I really enjoyed and appreciated your presentation the most. I must say that you presented your information very well. I have never seen in a presentation where the presenter was so real and to the point. No one has ever won over students with just a personal testimony and the blunt truth! It was amazing."

Welcome Letter

Before anything positive can happen in your life, you have to develop the right attitude.

Throughout my life, I have confronted many challenges and transitions that tested the very limits of my will to survive. I learned that the key to overcoming challenges, to mastering transitions, lies in cultivating CONFIDENCE!

The only way you make your dreams and goals a reality is by first developing the mind set to achieve the goal. You must continue to dream. Whether it is for achieving your high school diploma, college degree, learning new skills, expanding your knowledge, or even just planning your child’s birthday party, you first have to picture yourself doing it.

When no one else thought I had even a remote chance of making it out of my neighborhood, I saw myself not only receiving a high school diploma, but earning a college degree. When no one else believed in me, I had a clear vision of my potential, of who I could and was going to become. With that attitude and confidence as my focus, my work ethic connected with my goals. I was able to conquer my life’s challenges – from a Miami Florida Housing Project, to being without a mother and father at eight years old, periods of homelessness. I was challenged by every aspect of life. The result? My dream became a reality: I overcame the odds and earned a bachelor of science degree in Political Science. I learned how to align my dreams and my attitude with hard work and sacrifice.

What do you need to sacrifice to reach your goals? Maybe it's going back to get that degree, or maybe working a few extra hours a week. No one knows better than you.You will never achieve your goals in life if you do not first see yourself in the place of your goals. That is just a start. All of us can reach a certain level of accomplishment in our professional and personal lives because we are born with certain abilities. The question is what can we do to propel our lives to the next level, and eliminate the barriers that diminish the value of our abilities? cont.>>
